This work, Covet Foundation, by Anna Marie Harrington was copyrighted in 2020. It was one of the last finished works she created.
The Artist preferred not to name her pieces because she felt that it decided the meaning for others. Anna wished for others to decide for themselves what they see in her art. She cared about what it might mean to them and saw the possibility that different points of view may find their own meaning in her creations.
I believe this is what Anna Marie meant when she said that her art “was alive”. She would always say that her art was alive to her, that it was part of her.
